FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is Fisherman Bible free?
Yes. Fisherman Bible is free to download on Google Play and has no ads.
How does the fish identification work?
Take a photo of your catch or pick one from your gallery. The AI model runs on your phone and suggests the most likely species out of 55 freshwater and sea fish. It is a best guess, so always check the species and size limit before you keep a fish.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. Fish recognition, your catch journal, boat ramps and fishing places work offline. The weather, bite forecast and depth map layers need a connection to load.
Which lakes have depth maps?
Surveyed lakes in Lithuania, Finland and Norway, plus sea depths for the Baltic, the Norwegian coast and all European seas. Not every lake has depth data, and in Finland and Norway contours appear when you zoom in.
Can I move my catches to a new phone?
Yes. Export all your catches, spots, trophies and photos into one ZIP file, then import it on the new phone and choose to merge or replace your data.
Is the app available in Lithuanian?
Yes. The app is available in English and Lithuanian (as Žvejo biblija), with metric and imperial units.
