Threadow does not collect your data. There is no account and no upload. Every photo you use stays on your phone. We have no way to see it.
The single exception is purchases: if you buy a subscription, our payments provider RevenueCat receives the purchase record needed to keep it working across your devices. Never a photo, never a name.
This policy explains that in full, because both the Apple App Store and Google Play require a published policy even for apps that collect nothing.
Threadow is developed by MediaNomine, based in Lithuania. For anything relating to this policy or your privacy, contact info@medianomine.lt.
Nothing, apart from your purchase record.
Threadow has no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising SDKs and no tracking pixels. We run no backend server of our own, so nothing you make in the app is sent to us. The only data that leaves your device is what our payments provider needs to process a subscription, described under Purchases and subscriptions below.
Specifically, we do not collect:
We do not create an account for you and we do not ask you to sign in.
Threadow works entirely on your phone. The following never leaves it:
| What | Where it lives | How to remove it |
|---|---|---|
| The photo you choose of yourself | Your device's app storage | Delete the cutout in the app, or uninstall Threadow |
| The cutout Threadow builds from it | Your device's app storage | As above |
| Your try-on history | A local file on your device | Clear history in Settings, or uninstall |
| Your app settings | A local file on your device | Uninstall |
Uninstalling Threadow deletes all of it permanently. Because none of it is ever transmitted, there is no copy anywhere else — not with us, not with anyone.
Images you explicitly save to your photo library, or send somewhere using the share button, are handled after that by your device and by whichever app you send them to. Those apps have their own privacy policies.
Threadow asks for the minimum permissions required to function. Each is used only for the purpose described, and only while you are using the app.
You can revoke any of these in your device settings at any time. Threadow will keep working, minus the feature that needs the permission.
Threadow offers a paid subscription. Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see your card details, billing address, or the email on your store account.
To know whether your subscription is active, and to restore it when you change or reset your device, we use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. This is the one place Threadow talks to a server.
What RevenueCat receives when you make or restore a purchase:
What RevenueCat never receives: your photos, your cutout, your try-on history, or any image Threadow produces. Those never leave your device under any circumstances.
RevenueCat processes this data as our processor, under its own privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy. Purchase records are retained while your subscription is active and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
If you never make a purchase, Threadow makes no network requests at all.
Beyond the payments provider described above, Threadow bundles no advertising, analytics, or attribution services.
Two more things are worth naming for completeness:
Threadow contains no advertising and performs no tracking. We do not use the advertising identifier on your device and we do not build a profile of you. We have never sold or shared personal information, and we do not do so now: your purchase record goes to RevenueCat only so your subscription works, and to nobody else.
Threadow is not directed at children and is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal data, contact us and we will act on it — though in practice there is nothing for us to hold.
Privacy laws including the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA/CPRA (California) give you rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and to object to its processing.
Everything you create in Threadow sits on your device, under your direct control: deleting it in the app or uninstalling the app removes it entirely, and we could not produce a copy if we wanted to.
The only record we can reach is your subscription data held by RevenueCat, and only if you have made a purchase. Write to info@medianomine.lt and we will disclose, correct, export, or delete it. Deleting a purchase record does not refund a subscription or cancel it — do that through your Apple or Google account — and we may need to keep the underlying invoice where tax law requires it.
If you have never purchased, we hold nothing about you at all, and we will confirm that in writing on request.
The strongest security guarantee an app can offer is not to have your data in the first place, and that is the guarantee Threadow makes. Your photos are protected by your device's own storage protections and are covered by your device passcode and encryption. Because your images are never transmitted, there is no image data in transit to intercept and no photo database to breach.
Purchase data sent to RevenueCat travels over an encrypted connection and is protected by RevenueCat's own security measures.
Your photos and everything else on your device are never transferred anywhere.
If you make a purchase, your subscription data is processed by RevenueCat in the United States. That transfer out of the EEA/UK relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
If Threadow ever gains a feature that changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated before that feature ships, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes. We will not begin collecting data under a silently amended policy.
